INTRODUCTION

    Anty M1212P is a waterproof free field microphone (IP64), including the preamplifier and 5 m double-shielded coaxial cable, for outdoor applications.

    Anty M1212P is connected a 5 m double-shielded coaxial cable with fixed connector, and it is covered by a cylinder-shaped enclosure made by aluminium alloy. At the top of the enclosure, the diaphragm of the microphone is covered by waterproof membrane and a screen with ∅1.5 mm holes is utilized for sound transmission. At the end of the enclosure, a cover with a hole can be unscrewed to put the microphone into the enclosure. The 5 m cable with a BNC male connector is passed through the hole before leaving the factory, as shown in Fig. 1.

    Served as a reference sensor, Anty M1212P is fixed by a pair of semi-circle clamps, which can slide on a revolving rod. At the end of the revolving rod, a circle panel is designed for fixed to another circle panel at one end of a support rod. The support rod is mounted on the console’s surface by a flange. Several U-shape clamps are used to fix these two circle panels. With the adjustable angle of these two panels, the revolving rod and the Anty M1212P can keep pointing upwards, regardless of the angle of the console’s surface. The installation instruction is shown in Fig. 2(a) and Fig. 3. When Anty M1212P is used as an error sensor, the connection between the semi-circle clamps and the flange is replaced by the goose neck, instead of the revolving rod and the support rod, which is shown in Fig.2 (b). The length of the goose neck connection is about 50 cm.

    When the cable of Anty M1212P needs to penetrate through a wall in case that Anty M1212P and TigerANC-II are placed in different rooms, three methods shown in Fig. 4 are recommended. Firstly, a hole with at least 16 mm diameter is recommended to be drilled on the wall, so the cable can penetrate through a wall directly. Secondly, a metal pipe with BNC female connector in each end penetrates through a wall. Finally, a panel with BNC female connector is installed on a wall in the room with the Anty M1212P mounted, and another panel with BNC female connector is installed on a wall in the room placing the conditioner. The internal connection with these two connectors is ensured by the user.
